The Organizers are pleased to announce the 16th edition of the European Carbohydrate Symposium (Eurocarb XVI) that will be held at the Hilton Hotel in 2011, 3 to 8 July in Sorrento (Naples, Italy).

In the tradition of Eurocarb Symposia started in Wien in 1981 and followed by other 14 meetings all over Europe, Eurocarb XVI in Sorrento-Naples aims to show the state-of-the-art of research on all aspect of Carbohydrate Chemistry and Biology and to stimulate high quality research, inspiring those already working in the field and young scientists approaching Glycoscience.

The Conference will include sessions on Enzymatic and Organic Synthesis of Glycoconjugates, New Analytical approaches to Structural Analysis of Glycoconjugates, Glycobiology and Glycomedicine Science, Glyco-biotechnology, Food and Industrial aspect of carbohydrates.

We particularly encourage young researchers to join and present their work, the Scientific Committee will leave open slots to be filled only by young Glyco-researchers.
